The Vienna Open now will be held September 30-October 5, while the Lahti Open moves to October 10-19. The two-game title match saw Cayez ourscore Nicolas Forestier, 467-389. ■ It's official: Contracts have been signed that will bring the 2008 WTBA Men's World Championships to Bangkok, Thailand. ■ The Zubor Buick Team Tournament, which features a guaranteed first prize of $20,000, kicks off January 6 at Taylor Lanes in Taylor, Mich. IN THE PADDOCK ■ Brett Wolfe, winner of the ABC/ USBC Masters in 2002, teamed with fellow Arizonan Tina Stickney to win the Western Women Premier Bowlers' Mixed Doubles tournament at Mission Hills (Calif.) Bowl. First place paid $2,000. ■ Novella Daniels defeated Stacey Sykes, 211-157, in the championship match of the Metro Detroit USBC Queens at Beech Lanes in Redford, Mich. Daniels earned $1,000 and a tiara pendant necklace. ■ Ken Charrette and Len Cianciolo won Metro Detroit's 17th annual Steve Cruchon Memorial Doubles at Sterling Lanes in Sterling Heights, Mich. They downed Don Braun and Trey Edwards in the title match, 419-414.
