and regulations. Practicing proper etiquette, as you would when

Fairs and rodeos provide windows into Arizona tribal cultures.
Two of the biggest fairs are the
Navajo Nation Fair in September
in Window Rock and the Tohono O'odham Nation Rodeo &
Fair in January outside Tucson.
Enjoy the tradition of pow wow
at Thunder Mountain Pow Wow,
held each August on the Kaibab
Band of Paiute Indians' land near
Fredonia on the Arizona Strip.

Golf has become popular in Arizona tribal communities. WeKoPa Golf
Club at Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation near Scottsdale is just one of Arizona's world-class courses in Indian Country. You can also hit the links
at the Pasqua Yaqui Tribe's Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson (designed by acclaimed American Indian golfer Notah Begay III), Apache Stronghold Golf
Club in San Carlos or other manicured courses.

McDowell Adventures offers
both short rides and all-day
trail drives from Labor Day
