Hopi Tribe Kykotsmovi
The Hopi village of Oraibi is the oldest continuously
inhabited community in the U.S. The Hopi are
excellent dry farmers, and local artisans are famous
for Katsina doll carvings, basketry, weaving, pottery,
and silver and gold jewelry. Each of the 12 Hopi
villages, spanning three mesas, features ceremonies
and shares an underlying sense of reverence for
healthy and happy living. Visitors should inquire at
the Moenkopi Legacy Inn, adjacent to Tuba City,
or at the Hopi Cultural Center, located on Second
Mesa, for attractions and cultural activities open to
the public.

Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians Fredonia
Located along the Arizona-Utah border on the
famed Arizona Strip, these scenic lands are just a
short trip away from Toroweep, Parashant-Grand
Canyon, Vermilion Cliffs and Pipe Spring national
monuments, plus the Grand Canyon's North Rim.

Navajo Nation Window Rock
Larger than many U.S. states, the lands of the
Navajo Nation encompass 27,000 square miles
of diverse and stunning landscapes, including

and Canyon de Chelly. The tribe is known for its
artfully crafted rug weavings and turquoise-andsilver jewelry.

This small community, bordered by Navajo and Hopi
lands, prides itself on basket weaving and farming.

White Mountain Apache Tribe Whiteriver
There's plenty to do on this beautiful Eastern
Arizona reservation. Try fishing, camping, hiking,
skiing, elk hunting or gaming, and don't miss
Fort Apache's Cultural Center Museum and the
prehistoric Kinishba ruins four miles west of
Fort Apache.

Zuni Pueblo Zuni, New Mexico
