Sky Harbor even has a shaded outdoor rest area for pet owners and their four-legged traveling companions. If you’re renting a car, you’ll find that Sky Harbor’s Rental Car Center is designed to deliver streamlined customer service. This spacious, sky-lit facility houses 13 rental-car companies under one roof, and a single shuttle system serves all airport customers. The newest addition to Greater Phoenix’s transportation system is METRO light rail.This efficient, environmentally sensible network links downtown to nearby restaurants, nightlife and museums, and provides a speedy route to and from the airport. The 20-mile line also connects downtown Phoenix to the neighboring cities of Tempe and Mesa. The City of Phoenix’s Valley Metro bus system augments light rail by providing daily service throughout the metropolitan area.
