METROLINK LIGHT RAIL St. Louis’ light rail system, MetroLink (www.metrostlouis.org), has been called one of the best mass-transit systems in the country. Metro has opened the Shrewsbury Branch that features light rail service between the Forest Park–DeBaliviere MetroLink Station and Lansdowne/I-44 in Shrewsbury. This expansion brings light rail service to nine additional locations along the Central Corridor of St. Louis City and County, including Clayton, University City, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Maplewood and Shrewsbury.
