1. Pushor Mitchell LLP's Conquer Cancer Week raised $5,000
in support of the BC Cancer Agency's Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins
Centre for the Southern Interior.
2. On Macaron Day, Faubourg Bakery sold their delectable
macarons for $1 each and then matched all donations, raising
a total of $20,000 for the BC Cancer Foundation.
3. The 16th Annual Toothfairy Gala & BC Dental Association
Awards raised a record $155,000 for the BC Cancer Agency's Early
Oral Cancer Detection Project. The whimsical event included a
touching tribute to the late Dr. Michele Williams of the BC Cancer
Agency, honouring her legacy working to conquer oral cancer.
4. The Telus Motorcycle Ride For Dad - Kelowna raised $40,000 to
support HDR Brachytherapy for prostate cancer at the BC Cancer
Agency's Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Centre for the Southern Interior.
