enables consistency across different product vendors
in part because it is a unified API that can be used for
mobile, desktop, console and embedded platforms.
Participants in Khronos' Vulkan working group
include Electronic Arts, Activision, Epic Games,
Lucasfilm, Pixar, Sony, Oculus VR, Apple, Samsung,
AMD, Intel and Google, among many others.
Khronos' members can contribute to the
development of its API specifications, and vote on
the specifications at various stages before public
deployment. They also benefit from having early
access to specification drafts and conformance
tests, which enable them to accelerate the delivery
of their cutting-edge 3D platforms and applications. Anyone interested in joining the Khronos
