Shanghai, China, proving itself as the technology event for
industries to converge, products to launch and business to get
done in the Asian market. The show floor nearly doubled in size
from last year, expanding from two exhibit halls in the Shanghai
New International Expo Centre (SNEIC) to four, and housing an
impressive 439 exhibitors (up from 212) from 23 countries.
The global technology ecosystem included the latest in 3D printing, robotics, wearables, drones, vehicle technology, virtual reality
and smart home tech across 32,000 gross square meters of exhibit
space (16,000 new square meters). Owned and produced by CTA,
and co-produced by Intex Shanghai, CES Asia 2016 brought some
of the largest companies and thought leaders together in one location as the platform for key global and domestic businesses to grow
and reinforce brands in Asia. More than 32,000 attendees walked
through the doors, including more than 1,000 media. Across more
than 50 conference sessions and keynotes, top executives from
Huawei, Alibaba, BMW, Intel, JD.com, Legendary Pictures and
Wanda Cinema Line took center stage to deliver big ideas around
virtual reality, the Internet of Things and connectivity.
This three day technology bonanza included multi-national
exhibitors like BMW, Continental, Cobra Electronics, Gibson,
Hisense, Huawei, Monster, NavInfo, Mercedes-Benz, Pioneer
and dozens more, in high-quality exhibit booths. Large twostory exhibits dominated the show floor. This made CES Asia
decidedly different for the Asian market because the show
