Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S., but only two of the major risk factors-
age and family history-are out of your control. Learn about the other modifiable risk factors and the key
lifestyle changes that can help you lower your risk and live a heart-healthier life.

Choose a variety of fruits and vegetables, lean proteins such as fish and skinless poultry,
