patients may rarely think about
the community members who make
quality care possible through their
support of local health care programs and services, both ﬁnancially
and through dedicated eﬀorts of
volunteerism. At UM Shore Medical
Centers at Chestertown, Dorchester
and Easton, such support is provided by hospital auxiliary members.
Members of three exceptionally
active auxiliaries-Chester River
Hospital Center Auxiliary, Dorchester
General Hospital Auxiliary and the
Auxiliary of Memorial Hospital at
Easton-work tirelessly to position
UM Shore Regional Health as the
region's leader in patient-centered
health care. For decades, these
volunteer organizations have made
important contributions to the inpatient and outpatient medical facilities
by raising funds in support of UM
Shore Regional Health's programs,
services, equipment and patient care,
and in assisting with daily operations
at various sites.
