Mr. S did not exhibit adverse effects from this medication and was better able to concentrate and complete his school work.19,20 The psychiatrist and the pediatrician worked with the parents to assure that Mr. S received an MFE through the school system, and an educational prescription suited to his needs was developed. Mr. S’s progress was reported to the juvenile court, and his charges were dropped.
