Her husband, Joel Medina, gave it to her when the couple started dating. ey named the angel “Kimberly.” Joel often called Lenny to teasingly “check” on the angel. As the New Year came along in 2011, with much eﬀort and prayer, Lenny became pregnant with their ﬁrst child at age 42. e couple decided they would name her Kimberly after the angel. Because of Lenny’s age, her pregnancy was considered high-risk, so she chose the top hospital for high-risk pregnancies: Florida Hospital Orlando.
