Join Pure Sodaworks in support of Jack's ChattaNoggins
to help raise funds to end childhood cancer
A
s a small business, it's
incredible to see the passion
and dedication that 15-yearold Jack Skowronnek*
has shown with Jack's ChattaNoggins.
First, coming up with the idea to "walk a
mile," and then turning it into a way for
others to share in that experience and to
raise real money for Children's Hospital
Foundation and for cancer research.
We have always felt strongly
about supporting worthy causes in
our community. If we can help in
the battle to end childhood cancer,
then we would be wrong to pass up
the opportunity.
We are honored to support both
the "shavees" during the events,
but also to continually support
Jack's ChattaNoggins through the
development of Jack's Cherry Soda.

*Jack Skowronnek is founder of his namesake
event, Jack's ChattaNoggins, which raises
awareness and funds for pediatric cancer
through an annual head-shaving event.
When he was 10, he read the book
Drums, Girls & Dangerous Pie, by Jordan
Sonnenblick, a story about a middle school
boy whose younger brother is diagnosed with
leukemia. The boy ends up shaving his head
to make his younger brother feel better about
losing his hair to chemotherapy.
After reading the book, Jack wanted to
show his support for kids with cancer by
shaving his own head. He's done this four
years in a row and has raised more than
$95,000 to help children battling cancer.
You can help Make Miracles happen
The 2014 Jack's ChattaNoggins event was held June 1 at
the Chattanooga Market. All funds raised during the event
benefit the Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders
at Children's Hospital in Chattanooga. You can continue to
support the Children's Hospital Foundation throughout the year.
