Dan Page Lee Hoagland Lisa Rosen AN ILLUSTRATOR working out of his home studio in Cambridge, Ontario, Dan Page (“Rethinking the Bored Room,” page 76) is married with three daughters, who steal his pencils on a regular basis—driving him mad! Luckily, they are also budding artists and those “wandering” pencils have created some fabulous work. Dan will be in Taschen’s 100 Illustrators, featuring the best 100 illustrators from around the world, coming out in summer 2013. His clients include Time, Newsweek, Harvard Magazine, The New York Times and O Magazine, to name a few. BORN IN WASHINGTON D.C., Lee Hoagland (“Downtown Dreaming,” page 54) approaches photography in a nuanced, narrative-focused way. He moved to Paris in 2008 to focus on identity and integration issues facing the immigrant population. Currently based in Dubai, Hoagland is pursuing several projects in the region. His clients include The New York Times, The Financial Times Magazine, The International Herald Tribune, The Times of London and The National, among others. WRITER LISA ROSEN (“Powering Down,” page 44) lives in Los Angeles and has been writing about film, television, books, art, travel and design for the Los Angeles Times since the turn of the century. Her work has also appeared in Written By, Moving Pictures, Emmy and LA Architect, among other publications.
