who was honored
as a Distinguished
Alumna by NAU during the Centennial
Year Celebration,
spoke at the Sedona
Art Museum about
her passion for natural
landscapes and their
influence in her paintings and drawings. The
beauty of the Colorado
Plateau is the dominant
motif of her works.

Ted Pettet, ’58
BSBA & ’61
MED, received the
2013 Legacy Award
from the Mogollon
Sporting Association
for his outstanding
service and commitment to the town of
Payson. A teacher,
volunteer and government official, Ted
found multiple ways to
engage and improve
the community.
Appointed and later
elected as the first
mayor of Payson, he
was a charter member of the Mogollon
Sporting Association,
which formed 21
years ago.
