As one of the brand’s original founders, I have witnessed the evolution of a company built upon the guiding principles of quality and service imbued in us by César Ritz, who set such high standards for luxury in hospitality. This year, we prepare to celebrate the opening of our newest properties in China: Chengdu and Tianjin. Soon our growing portfolio will include The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya in Israel, new resorts in Aruba, Bali and Morocco, and our ﬁrst property in India, in the “Garden City” of Bangalore. It is an honor to be here today, looking to the future and ﬁnding new ways in which to offer timeless luxury and customer service that exceeds our guests’ expectations.
