All the details were in place: the fancy dinner, both families in tow — yet one thing was missing. Thanks to a snowstorm, the ring was in transit between New York, where it was designed, and Charlotte. Fortunately, love prevailed, and when the ring arrived, Erin accepted Matt’s (slightly shaking) hand. The couple fell in love with The Urban Garden at the ritz-carlton, charlotte and knew it was the ideal reception locale. “It had the perfect uptown feel with its glass and marble design; lighted trees added a magical touch,” says Erin. A juxtaposition of modern and romantic, their celebration in the sleek atrium was replete with dreamy fabrics, candlelight, crystal trees and pale pink flowers. Slate gray and blush tones carried the theme throughout the details.
