HOME (Heroes Outpatient Mental Health Experience, page 6) is the new program at St. Catherine Hospital designed to help troops with post-traumatic stress disorder returning to their families from overseas. New treatment options and research trials for peripheral arterial disease (page 8)—a debilitating condition that threatens life and limbs—are providing cardiologists a variety of choices in determining the best treatment for each patient.
