Service Improve customer service In 2011, Kaiser Health News conducted a patient satisfaction survey for 295 hospital markets. The results determined that some of the nation’s happiest patients can be found in the Tupelo, Miss., service area. The results were based on patients’ responses to 10 questions measured by Medicare’s patient satisfaction tool, HCAHPS. North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo ranked as the sixth happiest hospital market in the United States. NMHS averaged 82 hours of education and training per full-time employee in fiscal year 2011.
