My first job was as a veterinary assistant when I was 12 years old. I later worked cattle as a farmhand during the summers in my late teens. My first job in a hospital setting was as an orderly in the operating rooms.

My favorite television show is any endurance or finish-line sporting event.

My inspiration is living each day to the fullest with my girlfriend, children and greater family while attempting to never take anything for granted.

If I weren’t a doctor I would be a farmer.

To unwind after a long day I enjoy workouts such as swimming. I also look forward to coming home and relaxing with my family.

If a movie were made about me, I would be played by Daniel Craig or Matthew Modine. At least that is what I am told.

My favorite restaurant is Bone’s steakhouse.

Right now I am reading Handing One Another Along by Robert Coles. One thing people may not know about me is that my favorite sport/hobby is kitesurfing.

My first car was a 1974 Chevy Caprice station wagon— complete with faux wood paneling.
