Consider
Artificial sweetener:
Researchers have
been studying artificial
sweeteners since before
the Food and Drug
Administration banned
cyclamate in 1969 after
a study linked it to bladder cancer. While still a
banned substance, no
studies have replicated
the outcome since. And
research has shown
there is no link between
saccharin and aspartame
and cancer.
Fluoridated water:
After analyzing several
research studies on
drinking fluoridated
water and cancer, the
Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention
said they found “no
credible evidence”
of a connection.
Cellphones: The
jury is out on this one.
Researchers have not
found a consistent
link to cancer, but
studies continue as
cellphone technology,
and therefore radiofrequency exposure,
is changing rapidly.
