SoCIAL MEDIA Stay Connected with Titusville Ladies Club See what the members of Titusville Ladies Club are up to! Follow the club on Facebook at facebook.com/TitusvilleLadiesClub. Through generous community sponsorships, fundraising at each of the events, and the participating salons each donating a percentage of proceeds during the kickoff event, TLC raised an astounding $20,700 in net proceeds. The proceeds were donated by TLC to the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation for PMC’s cancer care programs. “It’s a great feeling to know a small group of women can have such a tremendous impact on our community,” says Jolene Maroney, cancer survivor and TLC member. “We’d like to thank everyone who supported us in our fight against cancer.” Displayed in the Parrish Medical Center atrium, the beautifully decorated bras made their way across Titusville in “The Journey of the Traveling Bras.” Presented by the Titusville Ladies Club, the journey raised money for cancer care programs at Parrish Medical Center. Each of the bras was decorated and donated by Jean Shuford and Pamela Childers of JBI in Titusville. Foundation Board Members Donate Time and Talents The Jess Parrish Medical Foundation (JPMF) is the philanthropic arm of Parrish Medical Center. The foundation is responsible for raising funds for projects, such as the Parrish Health Village and The Children’s Center, to benefit the health and well-being of our communities. But the foundation could not do its job without the support of the community. During its annual meeting last fall, the foundation elected new executive committee members. New board members were chosen, along with committee chairs and members at large. All these positions are filled by community members who volunteer their time because they want to make a difference in the health and well-being of our residents. The newly elected executive committee of JPMF’s board of directors are: Chris Broome, Esq., chairman; Barbara Terhune, chair-elect; E. Eugene Sego, RPh, vice chair; Jessie Kirk, secretary; Rachel Terry, treasurer and annual gifts co-chair; Richard Boggs, immediate past chair; George Mikitarian, ex-officio; Judy Allender, major gifts co-chair; Randall Coleman, major gifts co-chair; Christopher Manion, MD, MBA, physician gifts chair; N. Christine Sylvester, annual gifts co-chair; and Lisa Karimpil Mathews and Jason Snodgrass, members at large.
