"It is not possible to express how it makes us feel to have been a part of this adventure," he says. "I am proud that I am part of an institution that has so many caring providers who gave selﬂessly to make it happen, as well as administration that backed us all the way without any hesitation." Adds Phil Wolfe, GMC's president and CEO: "Our vision is to enhance the health of our patients and other customers, as well as to partner with our physicians and health organizations to treat disease and create a healthier community. While our involvement and support was simply our vision put into motion by many, we were humbled to play a role in the patient's journey to health." As Woldekirkos looks ahead, he no longer sees stairs he is unable to climb, but instead sees a renewed life of improved physical endurance, assuredness that he can go to work regularly and satisfaction of being able to care for his family. 4 5 WI NTER 2013 5
