As part of its mission, GMC provides the community with Here are a few highlights of our outreach efforts: The Gwinnett Women's Pavilion offers community education programs, including childbirth education, lactation support, and infant and child safety, plus additional classes to meet the educational needs of women of all ages. The Sports Medicine Program at GMC-Duluth provides athletic trainers to area high schools and recreational leagues. These trainers assess, educate, instruct and treat athletes on-site. The program's Concussion Institute provides best practices in concussion education, prevention, management and treatment, including neurocognitive testing through the ImPACT program. The Care-a-Van is a mobile mammography unit that provides low-cost breast health screenings and helps raise awareness and educate women about breast cancer.
