Retz, CPA Maureen E. Rupe Ashok C. Shah, MD he Sunshine State has the longest coastline in the lower 48 states, with about 1,350 miles. It's also the only state that borders both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. That means lots of great seafood options-everything from beautiful red snapper to our local rock shrimp. Rock shrimp is a great choice with its mild, sweet flavor, much like spiny lobster. And the shrimp can be prepared many ways. But take care: They cook more quickly than regular shrimp. Once you've marinated your rock shrimp with this recipe, you'll be ready to broil, sauté or grill them.
