Your Contributions are Critical to Success

Legislative advocacy is one of the most important services
CAI offers for community associations. CAI Legislative Action
Committees (LACs) provide CAI the opportunity to speak with one
voice on legislative and regulatory matters that affect community association homeowners, professional managers, and industry business
partners. While volunteer committee members work countless hours
throughout the year, new threats and opportunities may require LACs
to employ government affairs professionals to maintain the highest level
of advocacy for the industry.
Your individual contribution and those from communities are critical
in helping LACs communicate with policymakers and raising CAI's profile at state capitols. Contributions may be made by check or online
at caionline.org/LACdonate.

Prize

While all contributions are welcome,
communities might consider a suggested
"dollar a door" donation. Though it may
seem like a small amount, with an estimated 20,000 community associations
in New England, every dollar can truly
make a big difference. We hope you and
your community will join us in supporting the CAI advocacy mission, contribute
today, and also include a regular donation in your annual association budget.

Head of the Class

CCAL Sets High Ethical & Professional Standards
Of the thousands of attorneys practicing community association law in the
United States, fewer than 175 have been admitted as fellows to the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL). The goals of the college include promoting
high standards of professional and ethical responsibility in the practice of community
association law, developing and educating attorneys working in the field, as well as
facilitating and developing educational materials and programming.
We recognize New England chapter member Edmund Allcock, Esq.,
CCAL, partner in the law firm of Marcus, Errico, Emmer and Brooks,
who is currently a member of the CCAL Board of Governors.
