Condo Media - June 2018 - 4
DEDICATION AND COMMITMENT
t's true that there's nothing more constant than change and in the community association industry, change is at every turn ... from amended state
statutes to federal agencies' evolving policies, from questions around pets
vs. emotional support animals to rules and regulations about drones and
Airbnb rentals. With each passing year, association issues change, but the
one constant that's recognized by the chapter year in and year out is the
number of volunteers and industry professionals who keep communities
running and who remain undaunted through it all.
While members and Condo Media readers have turned to CAI and the New
England Chapter for the most updated industry information in an ever-changing
environment, communities would not prosper without sound and consistent
volunteer leadership. This months' cover story highlights those members from
around New England who have contributed countless hours of volunteer service
to their communities, supported their association clients in both big and small ways, and provided
insight and guidance in support of the chapter's mission. Before hundreds of industry professionals
and association volunteers, the achievements of this year's award winners were applauded and recognized. Throughout New England, thousands of volunteers dedicate themselves to advancing the
interests of their associations and the communities in which they live and work.
We extend our congratulations to all the award winners spotlighted in this issue and applaud all of
the unsung heroes in your community. Change may be constant, but so is the spirit and dedication of
so many New England volunteer leaders, day in and day out.
