Scientific Sessions links basic, clinical, and population science with continued emphasis on various thematic tracks that helps focus these disciplines on common goals with programming designed to improve patient care by communicating the most timely and significant advances in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease from many different perspectives. This year's program continued to emphasize multidisciplinary interactions, open lines of communication, and stimulate new thoughts and directions.
