The Fall 2007 JHIM-Digital Edition offers the same content and layout as its print counterpart, enhanced with a host of featurerich, interactive experiences, including page navigation; search functionality; customizable settings for easier reading; links to subjects, authors and vendors; an interactive table of contents; and much more. To access the Digital Edition and member-protected sections of the JHIM Web site, log on to the HIMSS Member Center, www.hi mss.org/marketplace. In addition, the Digital Edition may be previewed without logging in to the Member Center by visiting www.jhimdigital.org. JHIM also launched a redesigned Web site, www.himss.org/jhim, featuring improved navigation; new and redesigned informational content for readers and authors; and Web-exclusive content, featuring author interviews and articles. The Web-exclusive content allows the experts to expand on the thoughts and ideas set forth in their original columns or articles. North American HIMSS members who still want to continue receiving the print edition of JHIM must “opt-in” to receive the print version. Members who have already elected to receive the print issue will receive the latest issue soon. Get It in Print The “opt-in” process can be completed in three easy steps: 1. Visit the HIMSS Member Center and log on by typing your username and password. 2. Click on the JHIM 'YES!' button on the right side of the screen. 3. Check the opt-in preference and click “update.” With either the print or digital versions of JHIM, members will continue to receive the best in healthcare IT research, case studies and analysis.
