R o b e r t Wo o d Jo h n s o n University Hospital at Rahway RAHWAY, NJ is an acute-care community hospital providing a healthcare continuum to the communities it serves in Union and Middlesex counties. “With so much industr y focus on improved performance related to core measures, we selected Eclipsys solutions due to the company’s proven ability to help its clients achieve outcome improvements in these key areas,” said Kirk C. Eclipsys’ integrated clinical solutions will help provide clinicians at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway with access to a patient’s up-todate health record across departments and facilities. Eclipsys’ Sunrise Knowledge-Based CPOE uses evidence-based order sets that will help the hospital’s care givers to better adhere to established organizational practices but also allows physicians to build their own order sets. “We look forward to working with Eclipsys to target our areas for improvement and to successfully activate Sunrise Clinical Manager applications to help us achieve our goal of providing the best possible care in our region,” added Tice. The focus is turning to largescale deployment, she said, using a full suite of applications.
