Mo u n t S i n a i e x e c u t i v e s announced that the medical center plans to install the Vontu Data Loss Prevention 8 software suite from the Symantec Corporation, based in Cupertino, Calif. Mount Sinai has licensed Vontu Endpoint Discover and Prevent to discover confidential data on desktops and laptops and prevent such data from being downloaded to endpoint systems or copied to USB drives or other removable devices.
