Held in conjunction with HIMSS09, the banquet honors the 2008 award recipients for their significant contributions to the Society, their organizations and the health IT profession. These special contributions may vary widely due to the diverse membership of HIMSS and the broad definition of the healthcare professions encompassed by the HIMSS Mission.
