The call for proposals for the 2009 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition resulted in 613 proposals, a record number of submissions. The HIMSS09 call for proposals was open online April 7 through May 30. Individuals submitted proposals including information on intended audiences, topic categories the proposal fit into and “keywords” based on their abstract.
