That’s three decades focusing on producing printed publications. So as you can imagine, when our communications team approached me with the idea to make Aftermarket Insider a digital publication, I admit I was hesitant. Over the years, the printed Aftermarket Insider has received 24 awards for its design and writing from national and international art, design, public relations, association and editorial competitions. No longer kicking and screaming, I see that going electronic is the absolute right decision for AAIA for many reasons. Tremendous cost savings in printing and postage will be realized to help fund important programs in education, technology standards, government affairs and consumer education. The digital Insider allows us to reach and appeal to many more people within each member company with forwarding features and fantastic new interactive capabilities.
