Anniversaries Only Five Years Left to Reach 100 ourt Winona #191, Winona, Minnesota, celebrated its 95th anniversary with a Mass at St. Casimir Catholic Church and a dinner at the Knights of Columbus Club. The court members felt terrific that they were able to celebrate their 95th Anniversary in the same place where the court was installed in 1913: the Knights of Columbus Club. Monsignor Roy Literski, court chaplain, celebrated Mass. Minnesota State Secretary Meg Schmidt and District Deputy Deb Rowekamp joined the festivities. The Daughters were especially honored that the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus, Council #639, Winona, Minnesota, was also present. C Court St. Veronica Celebrates 70-Year Anniversary ourt St. Veronica #1273, Hardwick, Vermont, celebrated its 70th anniversary with Mass followed by brunch. Court Regent Jeannine Young introduced special guests State Regent Loretta Schneider and State Second Vice State Regent Shirley Buntin and acknowledged State Treasurer Deborah Brown, a member of Court St. Veronica. Court St. Veronica was chartered on March 6, 1938. Regent Young read the list of the 28 charter members, of whom only one survives. The court also recognized the several members in attendance who hold 50-year pins. A 50year pin was awarded at a later date to Jeanette Brochu. Court Celebrates 88-Year Anniversary I n honor of the 88th anniversary of Court St. Mary #468, St. Albans, Vermont, Court Chaplain Father Bernard Bechard celebrated Mass on May 15, 2008, in St. Albans. Following Mass, dinner was served and State Regent Loretta Schneider presented a 30-year membership pin to Monica Kimel and a 40-year membership pin to court Regent Susan Bressette. A reading of the Court’s 88-year history was divided into three parts: Financial Secretary Carol Dugan read the history from the court’s beginning on May 16, 1920 through 1945; Susan Bressette read the period from 1945 to 1970 and court member Judy Smith recalled the remaining years from 1970 to 2008.
