News&Notes Massachusetts Court Hammers Away for Habitat embers of Court St. Theresa #2349 of Sandwich, Massachusetts, joined Massachusetts state officers Joyce Fleming, state regent, and Patricia Devine, immediate past state regent, in presenting a gift of $1000 from an anonymous friend of Court LaRabida #183, Cambridge, to Laura Pisarchuk, Habitat mother of the family for which a house is being built in Brewster, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod. Last year members of the court were actively involved in the 9th national Habitat home completed in Brockton, Massachusetts. Louisiana Court Is Really Cookin’ ourt Our lady of Guadalupe #2317, Carencro, Louisiana, decided to share its culinary talents and make money as well by creating and selling a cookbook entitled “Divine Delights.” Even their pastor, Rev. Bill John Melancon of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, contributed some of his favorites. Money raised will be used to continue contributing to various charitable projects including a scholarship fund to assist a child in Catholic education, Thanksgiving dinner for the poor and new parish priest ordinations.
