People Stitches in Time, Beautiful Quilts and Memories gnes Fuchs, a charter member of Court St. Monica #1262, Olfen, Texas, celebrated her 90th birthday on August 10, 2008. Agnes is a 71-year member who served as court regent for five terms, along with “almost every office and committee chairwoman of this small rural court.” Agnes’ treasured memories are of the many stitches she put into the quilts that the court donated to the parish fall festival for many years, as well as the 29 quilts she made for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, six quilts for the priests and brothers at Mount Carmel Hermitage and two quilts for the daughters of court members who are nuns of the Sisters of Divine Providence, one of whom is Agnes’ daughter. Agnes now resides in an assisted living facility in San Angelo, Texas. All in the Family for New Court Officers A T he newly installed court officers of Court Holy Trinity #1336, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, really are family. The new regent, Lorraine Heck, and recording secretary Alice Woodford, are sisters; the newly-elected financial secretary, Patricia Smith, is the daughter of Alice Woodford. The Catholic Daughter theme of Unity and Charity is certainly true of Court Holy Trinity and its 65 members. The new officers were installed at a Mass in St. Bernard’s Church in Philadelphia. Connecticut Court Welcomes New Members left to right, 70-year member Adeline Beach; Agnes Fuchs; 61-year member Geneva Russell. Adeline and Geneva are cousins to Agnes. Court All Saints #1435, Somers, Connecticut, joyfully welcomed four new members to the Court.
