After two successful private stock offerings, the bank’s tier one capital is at $167.6 million USD. The bank surpassed $1 billion USD in assets after 18 months, making it one of the fastest-growing de novo institutions in the country. The Challenge Great Florida Bank is just four years young but already needed to improve email management for its Microsoft Exchange Server. The Exchange Server is centrally located in the bank’s Miami headquarters, and it supports email for all employees, located in more than 20 branch offices, as well as its headquarters. Before a solution was installed, Great Florida Bank was archiving email in local PST files. According to Hugo Torres, IT director for Great Florida Bank, “The problem with this system became apparent when users moved from PC to PC.
