MATTHEW SCHWARTZ Class Year: 1996 Hometown: Lititz, Pa. Vocation: Health and Physical Educator; awardwinning Boys Soccer Coach, Manheim Central High School “I appreciate the family atmosphere that surrounds the men’s soccer program [at Messiah]. Throughout my four years it was evident that our team didn’t just consist of the 20-plus players on the actual roster. . . . And now, even though it’s more than 10 years since I stepped on the field as a player, I still feel a part of the action while sitting in the stands. Thanks, Coach Shoemaker and Coach Brandt, for the impressions you have stamped on the program and for all the Falcon ‘brothers’ in my life.” 18. WINSTON SEEGOBIN Hometown: Dillsburg, Pa. Vocation: Professor of Psychology “Along with the opportunity to fulfill my passion for teaching, counseling, and research, I am grateful for the privilege to mentor students from underrepresented groups, to see them blossom and flourish as they pursue standards of excellence in their vocation.” 17 11 14 16 ing that one could be successfully involved in the academic world and also be a thoroughly evangelical Christian.
