FROM THE CHAIR On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I want to express our deep gratitude for the consistent support that parents, friends, and alumni have provided during this past year. We are excited about the future direction of Messiah College, and we invite you to continue your partnership with the College. You may know that we are beginning to plan for the College’s 100th anniversary, which will consist of a year-long centennial celebration beginning in the fall of 2009. As this special year approaches, we welcome the opportunity to re ect on what Messiah has been and what it will be in the future. Many stories in this year’s President’s Report remind us that at the core of the College’s mission is a commitment to nurturing strong Christian faith and academic excellence. Many things change over the course of 100 years, but the fusion of faith and intellect has been a de ning element of Messiah College since its beginning and will continue to be our guiding commitment as we begin a new century in the College’s history.
