Chauvet previously headed the eastern side. “Bringing the support function under one leader is critical to keeping up with the growing Falcon fleet,” said Dassault Falcon president and CEO John Rosanvallon. Chauvet has been with Dassault for 27 years. Michael Moore Is AAC’s New SVP Standard Aero (Booth 641) has appointed Michael Moore as svp of Associated Air Center, the VIP transport completion facility in Dallas. For the past year Moore served as AAC production, planning and supply chain vp. “Since the acquisition by DAE Engineering last year we have invested in capability, capacity and personnel,” said Standard Aero CEO Paul Soubry. “We are keen to have Mike lead AAC to the next level.” Separately, Standard Aero named Kevin Perris as STC program director for its Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A business unit. Banyan’s Mack Earns Safety Award Shawn Mack, Banyan Air Service’s line service director of training, was recognized with the 2008 Safety Leader of the Year Award at April’s Aviation Industry Expo. Mack received the award for implementing safety towing procedures at Banyan’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Executive Airport FBO. With an average of 100 aircraft movements per day, Banyan needed a refined spotting procedure to improve aircraft movements, and developed a series of step-by-step actions that have resulted in a flawless safety record. Banyan is at Booth 2147. CAE Fills International Slots Montreal-based training specialist CAE (Booth 601) has made a number of international appointments: Walter Visser has been named managing director of Emirate-CAE training operations, Rudy Toering was named general manager for the company training centers in Canada, Steven Lee was appointed general manager of CAE’s flight training center in Zhuhai, and Martin Williamson was named general manager for the training center in Kuala Lumpur. NetJets Names Owner Services Chief & a CIO NetJets (Booth 109) said this month that Matt Harris has been named owner and employee services evp. Alan Cullop has been named evp and chief information officer. Bombardier Names Hachey President, COO Bombardier has appointed Guy Hachey president and COO of its aerospace division. Hachey succeeds Pierre Beaudoin, who will become president and CEO of parent Bombardier, Inc. on June 4. Hachey started his career 30 years ago with General Motors and after the 1999 spinoff of GM's Delphi parts division advanced to become vp of Delphi and head of its powertrain and Europe, Africa and Middle East divisions. Steve Ridolfi, former president of Bombardier regional, now is president of Bombardier Business Aircraft and James Hoblyn was promoted to president, Bombardier aircraft services. Cirrus Design Names Wouters President Cirrus Design named Brent Wouters president and COO in February. He’d served as Cirrus evp and CFO since early 2002. Prior to his tenure at Cirrus, Wouters worked as an aircraft engineer and spent four years developing and testing flight simulators for Delta Air Lines. He also worked as an information consultant assisting Lockheed Martin with proprietary inventory management software for the F-22 fighter. Cirrus claims to sell more airplanes than any other company by unit count and is developing a jet single, which may be seen at Booth 7430.
