EBACE Show News - May 20, 2008 - (Page 68) EBACE 2008 Jet Aviation Opens Basel Widebody Hangar Guests at Jet Aviation’s brand new megahangar in Basel, Switzerland, were treated to an exciting, colorful, musical and visual spectacular as the company celebrated its official opening ceremony last Friday. The show featured ascending aerial acrobatics, exotic winged stilt walkers, and dancers performing in translucent spheres. It was like the opening of a major sporting event, and the audience loved it! Saad Air’s Airbus A340-600 is first to be completed in the Jet Aviation mega-hangar. Poised to press the starter button, (l to r) Jet Aviation CEO Peter Edwards with Andre Wall, Elie Zelouf, Carl Hirschmann and Norbert Marx. Jet staged a spectacular opening ceremony at the Basel hangar on Friday.
