Twenty More 2000LXs for NetJets Europe Having announced its “winglet-ed” Falcon 2000LX at last year’s EBACE, Dassault is back this year with a follow-on order from NetJets Europe for 20 aircraft, valued at $720 million. A previous contract for 10 of the twinjets is being delivered this year. Moreover, NetJets flies other Dassault business jets. “This new order means they will be adding over 60 new Falcons to their fleet over the next eight years,” observed John Rosanvallon, president and CEO of Dassault Falcon (Booth 7425). Winglets boost Falcon 2000 performance to 4,000 nmi at Mach 0.80 and add the ability to reach FL410 in just 18 minutes from takeoff. The extended range means the ability to fly between pairs such as London and New York, Madrid and Almaty or Oslo and Dubai. Inside, the 2000LX is similar to the previous 2000EX EASy, featuring that aircraft’s highlypraised flight deck. “Our customers love the Dassault Falcon 2000 and Falcon 2000EX. With the added range and increased fuel efficiency of the Falcon 2000LX, we know that the aircraft will be a big hit with European business men and women,” said Mark Booth, chairman and CEO of NetJets Europe. —Paul Jackson http://www.lumatech.com http://www.lumatech.com
