FQS HY-LiTE can be used in a variety of fuels and will detect the presence of aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms. FQS Kathon FP 1.5 biocide can then kill that contamination. The product, which causes no harmful effects to equipment and components, has a 12- to 24-hour soak time and a treat rate of one gallon to 10,000 gallons of fuel. Fuel Quality Services is located at Booth 4909. ‘Our Pilots Are Happy and They Should Be,’ Says NetJets’ Santulli “Do I like Bill a lot? Yes. I like him and I respect him.” “Do I agree with him on everything? Absolutely not.” That’s Richard Santulli, chairman and CEO of NetJets, on the subject of Bill Olsen, president of the Teamsters local in Columbus that secured a major new contract with the fractional operators Richard Santulli. last year. “It’s been a very good relationship,” Santulli says. “Our pilots are happy and they should be.” Now the two men are preparing a new contract, with a goal of presenting it to NetJets pilots by October 1. The existing document is “very complicated,” Santulli told Show News, with provisions that both sides would like to change. “Why don’t we write this thing as two grown-up businessmen?” he says he asked Olsen. Now they’re doing so. “It will be innovative,” Santulli says of the contract. Those words apply to the new NetJets-union relationship as well. Aerolineas Ejecutivas Selects SkyBOOKS SkyPLUS Technologies, provider of the SkyBOOKS operations and maintenance tracking system, has signed a multi-year agreement with Mexico's Aerolineas Ejecutivas to provide SkyBOOKS to their MexJet owned and managed fleets. MexJet, which is Mexico's premier fractional ownership program, added a total of 14 aircraft—Hawker 400XPs and 800XPs and Agusta helicopters-to its fleet earlier this year. Alejandro Alonso, director general of ALE and MexJet, noted, “After studying other systems we realized that this was the tool we needed to integrate our fractional fleet of aircraft with our managed fleet and simultaneously track all required maintenance activity.” SkyPLUS is at Booth 4433. IKHANA Offers ‘One-Stop Shop’ for Mods IKHANA Group has been formed through the acquisition of RW Martin, Inc. (RWMI) and Total Aircraft Services, Inc. (TASI). By combining the engineering and FAA certification services of TASI with the aircraft modification and maintenance services of RWMI, IKHANA will provide a “comprehensive one-stop shop” for its customers’ aircraft modification needs. TASI, located at California’s Van Nuys Airport, and RWMI, at French Valley Airport in Murrieta, California, will continue to operate as separate companies. Fargo Jet Center Joins Hawker Beechcraft Hawker Beechcraft has approved Fargo, North Dakota-based Fargo Jet Center (Booth 1907) as an authorized service center. FJC will focus on the Bonanza, Baron and King Air. A 24-hour, full-service general aviation company based at Fargo’s Hector International Airport (FAR), FJC is North Dakota’s largest private aviation operation with owned and leased facilities consisting of more than 200,000 total square feet. FJC provides services including avionics installations, engine and airframe maintenance, repair and modification, and routine inspections. Ready for a Long-Term Commitment? Says Steve Bjornson, vp contractor relations, “We will deliver top-qualified aircraft maintenance personnel to the aviation maintenance industry.” Protect Your Paint With CareJet France’s CareJet Services is promoting an advanced technology polymer paint protection system developed by Dow Corning and ProguardPlus. The system, which can be used on new or older paint on aircraft surfaces, is applied without friction or buffing pressure, and is fully warranted for 12 months with optional yearly or a 48-month warranty. The CareJet system, employing Dow Corning’s IE2000 polymer, reduces maintenance and eliminates use of aggressive detergents or scrubbing.
