According to Mesinger, “Just one more piece of equipment will change the market.” 100th Engine Kit Delivered for G350/450 Eaton (Booth 4032) has delivered its 100th engine build-up kit, which comprises ten different subsystems for Rolls-Royce Tay engines for Gulfstream G350/450 jets. The EBU kit includes the environmental control system, drain, gearbox breather, fire extinguishing and fire detection sub-systems, integrated drive generator, hydraulics, remote oil filler and fuel system. Securaplane Delivers 20,000th Battery The 20,000th battery built by Securaplane (Booth 7451) has been delivered to battery distributor CRS Jet Spares. Securaplane has been building emergency batteries since the early 1990s. The company’s batteries feature battery level test and a built-in precision charging system, which means the user doesn’t need to deep cycle or remove the battery for a capacity check. Securaplane also does the design work for the Hawker line of batteries by EnerSys. Aircraft Security from Securaplane A new aircraft security system built by Securaplane (Booth 7451) will allow the owner to get realtime alerts, interrogation and monitoring from any telephone. The Preflite system uses the GSM mobile network so users can arm, disarm, or check their aircraft’s security using any phone, including mobile phones. Preflite also includes options for a range-controlled radar sensor and a security video camera. The system is scheduled to be available for purchase in October 2007.
