science in architectural engineering from Kansas
State University and a master of architecture from

Emily Hooper is a Queens, New
York-based design writer, editor,
and social media specialist who has written for the
Architect's Newspaper, Metals in Construction,
Contract magazine, and various online outlets. She
is a graduate of Ithaca College.
