THE 4,085-ACRE LAKE at Mount Sunapee State Park Beach is an ideal spot for family and group outings – enjoy fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking. The beach has a store, canoe and kayak rentals, a playground, and a bathhouse with flush toilets and showers. A boat launch is available with some restrictions. The beach is just part of Mount Sunapee State Park, which offers recreational activities year ’round, including alpine skiing and snowboarding in the winter months. About a mile from the beach, Mount Sunapee State Park Campground has five renovated lean-to sites. This allows for excellent family camping in a natural setting. The campground has pit toilets and water, and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. >> Playground: Need a place to go where the whole family can find something to do?
