Three main hiking trails ascend Pack Monadnock to the summit. An operational fire tower, used for detecting fires, affords a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. Climb to the Pack summit. MONADNOCK STATE PARK: Spend time exploring the park environment and don’t rush by the interesting terrain on your quest to reach the summit, says Park Manager Andrew Zoboray.
