Make the new Charnow Park your home base, where there’s a playground for the children, picnic areas overlooking the ocean, as well as souvenir shops and beachside cafés. Participate in Tai Chi at sunrise, play paddle ball or hire a ‘bicycle for four’ and ride along the car-free promenade that is nine metres wide. s Day 2: Head to West Lake Park to reconnect with nature. Tour the Anne Kolb Nature Center and walk along wooded trails. Take a nature cruise, climb the observation tower or go fishing on the pier. Later, take in an exhibition at the Hollywood Art and Culture Center and then explore the new ArtsPark in Historic Downtown. s Day 3: Play tennis or golf at several parks and courses. Have lunch at an outdoor café and shop at the galleries and unique shops in Historic Downtown. In the evening you can dance under the stars at the Hollywood Beach Theater, which hosts live music and entertainment almost every night. Couple’s getaway s Day 1: Enjoy breakfast along the oceanfront Hollywood Beach Broadwalk and then stroll to North Beach Park where you can create the day’s first footprints on this calm stretch of undeveloped beach bounded by nature preserves. Later, sip a cool tropical drink at a local beach establishment on the Broadwalk. Have dinner in Historic Downtown Hollywood and then unwind at a wine bar or lively nightclub.
