Two trailheads – Reverend Compton Park and Matewan – open onto 95 miles of trails. (Matewan, 61% , 15% , 15% , 9% ) C) Dingess Rum Trail System: Almost one-fifth of the 105 miles of trails off the Bearwallow trailhead are rated “black,” the most difficult level trail, and it’s known for it. The single-track here is notoriously tricky, too.
